This piece is very well done. I haven't seen you do backgrounds recently, so it's nice to see you picking up on them again.

The colors you've used give this scene a warmness about it.
You've really improved on your highlights. The sheen on her hair was pulled off flawlessly and the shadows aren't too dark so they don't draw attention. Her eyes look very bright and attractive as well.
The beams of light were a nice touch. Try extending them a bit more and having them fade at the ends; I don't think they would just stop before reaching her head.

The bed could use a bit more detail. It's the only part of the picture that doesn't have an outline, so it looks a bit like still water. Maybe add a pillow or two like =phoenixflaym said.

I really like the colors in the picture; you did a good job picking out the color scheme. I think the red and the beige go together particularly well. You did well on the blanket too; texturing cloth can be difficult to do, especially at an angle.

I like the way you textured her fur and hair too, but I think her bangs would look better opaque; I've never liked the "anime translucent bangs that show the eyes underneath" thing.

I'd recommend adding more details to the picture; right now it looks kind of plain. For example, maybe some things on the wall, a pillow or two on the bed or some fringe to the blanket.
